Juniors

Membership

The Shropshire’s Junior section provides an ideal environment for nurturing young players, whether they are new to the game or aspiring elite performers.

With state-of-the-art facilities and a passionate coaching team, we strive to create a positive and enriching experience for young golfers.

Our Junior Membership is a brilliant cost-effective way for kids to start or continue their passion for golf!

Lessons

Lessons are great fun and are delivered through our recognised coaching programme. All ages are welcome from 5-15 years old. All equipment is supplied plus our teaching staff are all DBS checked.

Group Lessons

The Shropshire offers the perfect facilities to develop young intermediate players through group coaching. Enjoy quality coaching, fun golf games and a safe, social environment.

Individual Lessons

A great stepping stone from group lessons, whether it’s a one-off or a series of sessions, an individual lesson gives the freedom to focus on the next step to improve.

Junior Camps

Camps are a fantastic way to keep your kids active and enjoy fun outdoor activities whilst making friends – all they need to bring is themselves, comfy clothes and trainers!

Benefits of Junior Golf

Physical Wellbeing

By playing golf, juniors can improve their health, strength, coordination, and flexibility!

Character Development

Golf instils important values and character traits in juniors. It teaches patience, perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Social Interaction

Golf provides opportunities for juniors to socialise and build relationships with their peers, coaches, and fellow golfers.

Mental Focus and Concentration

Golf requires strategic thinking and mental focus. Juniors learn to analyse situations, make decisions, and adapt their game accordingly.

Life Skills

Golf teaches valuable life skills that extend beyond the course such as goal-setting, time management, and the importance of practice and self-improvement!

Safe Golf

The Shropshire has considered its responsibilities to adults and children participating in golf therefore we have produced the following Safeguarding Policy for adults and children. The procedures are set out to the standards we wish to uphold in providing activities for all.

Driving Range

Capture monsters, slay dragons and transport into a parallel universe on one of the immersive games, designed for kids but a challenge for all the family.

That’s not all, they can learn new skills on practice mode, play a fun round of golf or even take part in competitions, there really is plenty for kids to enjoy on our Trackman driving range!

Gift Vouchers

Looking to treat a loved one or family member? You can give the gift of golf with a lesson, round of golf or even a voucher to spend in the shop. Plus you can buy online in a few easy steps!
