Individual Lessons
Your golf coach for one off sessions or a series of sessions will ensure you focus on what matters to you and your game. Our friendly PGA Professionals will help you get the very best out of your golf.
Group Lessons
Our group tuition programme has courses to suit beginners and improving golfers. Group lessons are the ideal way to take the pressure off of learning golf, and can be a great way to feed off others in a more relaxed, social environment.
Learn Golf in a Day
A fun way to pick up the essentials of the game and walk away with a good feel for what golf can offer you – It’s ideal for those looking to get a quick introduction into the game of golf, and learn skills that can be built on going forward.
Junior Golf
The Shropshire provides an ideal environment for nurturing young players, whether they are new to the game or aspiring elite performers.
Lessons are great fun and are delivered through our recognised coaching programme. All ages are welcome from 5-15 years old. All equipment is supplied plus our teaching staff are all DBS checked.
With state-of-the-art facilities and a passionate coaching team, we strive to create a positive and enriching experience for young golfers at The Shropshire.
Safe Golf
The Shropshire has considered its responsibilities to adults and children participating in golf therefore we have produced the following Safeguarding Policy for adults and children. The procedures are set out to the standards we wish to uphold in providing activities for all.
The Driving Range
The TrackMan technology on our 30 bay floodlit driving range provides invaluable data in order to analyse your game and hone in on areas for improvement with accuracy.

Meet The Pro’s
David Ashton
David turned professional in 1997 having played amateur golf at the highest level. He joined The Shropshire Golf Centre in April 2012 and is a very popular coach.
David has taught at all levels, from beginners to county player for Shropshire and Herefordshire. His approach is simple, offering clear and concise instruction.
David Baker
Dave started playing golf at the age of six and accumulated excellent knowledge about the technical and biomechanical aspects of the game. Since completing a PGA degree in 2014, he has developed a passion for teaching beginners and elite golfers alike.
